Who we Are
UPROOT POVERTY was established in 2010 in Virginia, USA, and is a recognized 501[c][3] charitable, secular, and non-political organization devoted solely to uprooting poverty worldwide by helping individuals and their families living in poverty to transform their lives. Our mission is to assist individuals and families worldwide to overcome detrimental financial, educational, and medical obstacles and transform their lives.
Mission
At Uproot Poverty, our success is grounded in one overriding priority—meeting the progressive needs of those individuals who cannot help themselves. Uproot Poverty firmly believes that no one deserves to live in agony and pain just because they are poor. Big or small, everyone has a right to live a better, happier, and healthier life. Uproot delivers and fills that bridge gap by lifting their miseries and providing hope for a better life, but one by one. Our mission is to assist in education, medical, and monthly ration after beneficiaries are verified through our volunteers worldwide.

Community Building
UPROOT POVERTY supports community building through social services and promotes education, health, culture, and socio-economic development needs in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC.
BENEFICIARIES
The videos below demonstrate the needs of Uproot's recipients and with the help of our volunteered Case Managers, over 500 beneficiaries were reached in five countries. Each beneficiary was validated, and the goal is to help as many as possible.
